The reason I have taken time to choose this property and discuss as to why I think it is a great little gem you have to look at what is happening around Playa Blanca and what the past and the future holds for this beautiful and historic fishing village.

Back when this little fishing village was very small all there was, was a church (The church of our lady of Mount Carmel) and a large desert of land to the north and a lighthouse inaugurated in 1866 and replaced by the new lighthouse in 1988….Fast froward and Playa Blanca (named after the white beach in the centre of Playa Blanca pictured to the right in 1967) became lined with luxury hotels and beautiful gardens. The issue was that land to the east and north was protected, so the west of Playa Blanca was where the development began now known as the Faro Park.

So, like many seaside villages and towns Playa Blanca has become a destination for families old and young alike, spending weeks and months in this beautiful town. The infrastructure that goes along with this has meant that new projects have been started also to help people who wish to stay local in Playa Blanca. The new Sports Pavilion in Playa Blanca will have three indoor courts for basketball and football a 25-metre swimming pool, two smaller pools, and a gym. There will also be an outdoor football pitch in Playa Blanca, which means that people will not have to travel to the stadium in Yaiza. The new port, which will bring so many people to this part of the island will be looking to compete November 2021. Changes this once small fishing village has seen is incredible, but with all sun destination islands you need to move with the times, and Playa Blanca has embraced this.

So why would I promote this property above any others? This property must boast one of the best positions in Playa Blanca, as you are only a stone throw away from the town centre, so shops bars and restaurants are not far! Along with the bus station being close the new sports developments, the port will also be at your fingertips. The property has a Vacation Licence so all the people who visit from cruises and wish to return to Playa Blanca will be looking for a great villa to stay and this will be its time to shine! Four bedrooms heated pool south facing and on a beautiful and quiet development, this is my choice for a great vacation investment.
