This villa consists of 3 different parts; 1 from the 18th century; 1 from the 19th century and the last and newest part from the mid-20th century. The original building traces back to 1780 and it’s like walking through history. It has all the old traditional parts of the house such as an old traditional kitchen, a wine cellar, the winepress and one of the last 3 existing “Tahona”s on the island. A Tahona is an old traditional bakery, where camels were used to make flour. These places are not in use today, but you can still get the essence of what it was like more than 100 years ago.
The big open-air Canarian patio in the middle of the buildings makes a logical separation of the different parts of the house and makes a great space for family gatherings.
The newer part of the house consists of 2 floors, with 6 bedrooms, 2 offices, 2 dining room, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen, which has a beautiful old traditional wood stow. From the kitchen, an old precious handmade wooden staircase, which was built by the popular local artisan, Maestro Domingo Abreut Morales, the same person who also built the ceilings of the very famous San Gines church in Arrecife. The staircase leads you to the top floor, where you find 3 bedrooms and a very spacious bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a door out to the garage roof, where you have a direct exit to the outside lower part of the property via an old staircase.
